Skip to content Delete your account
You can delete your Zenup Health account and the personal data linked to it at any time, from inside the app.
How to delete your account
In the app: open Profile → Settings → Delete Account. The screen lists exactly what will be removed; type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
Without the app: email privacy@zenuphealth.com with the subject Delete my Zenup account and the mobile number you used to log in. We confirm the request with an OTP to that number and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, mobile number, email, age, city and intake answers
- Your login — that mobile number can no longer sign in
- Mood check-ins and wellness history synced to your account
- Your community pseudonym and your reactions
- Everything stored on your phone: journal, drawings, streaks, habits and saved posts
What is kept, and why
- Records of sessions you booked and paid for are kept for 8 years, as Indian tax law requires — with your name, number and email removed, so they no longer identify you.
- Notes and messages from your expert about your sessions are part of their professional clinical record and are retained under their record-keeping obligations. Ask your expert directly if you want these removed.
- Community posts and replies stay in the room under your pseudonym, which is no longer linked to you or to any account. Delete individual posts in the app before deleting your account if you want them gone.
- De-identified statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
Upcoming sessions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel or refund sessions that have not happened yet. Cancel them in the app first if you want a refund; refunds follow the cancellation terms shown at booking time.
